Áine has been involved as Associate lecturer at The University of the West of England for over 10 years as well as a role as Visiting Tutor at Birmingham City University.

At UWE I tutor and have lectured the undergraduate architecture courses, with a focus on regenerative design principles.

Since constructing the R3 Pavilion in response to COVID 19 impacts on learning environments, a collaborative paper has been written for publication: ‘Drawing Reflections from the Collapse, Construction and Re-Conception of Studio Space Across the Pandemic’

At BCU, I have assisted in delivering the Master’s course with the Unit: ‘Extinction Rebellion Architecture’ as a response to the climate crisis and the role architects have in this.
